Lisa&Co is a brand that is manufacturing its jewelry pieces from long lasting materials - precious metals, gems, fair trade diamonds and rare pearls. By combining high quality materials with a precise craftsmanship, we offer to our customers long lasting jewelry that can be worn daily/always and forever.

We share with you some tips and tricks that you can try out so that your jewelry would always look like new.

14K Solid Gold

Solid Gold is a precious metal that doesn't oxidize or lose its color since it is the least reactive metal. The purity of gold is measured in carats (K). 14K alloy is giving to our products a beautiful subtle gold color. Also, it is the best companion of an active lifestyle; it is unlikely to scratch, to lose its shape or erode as easily as 18K gold.

Care:

Although it is long lasting and more resistant, as any other jewelry, even 14K solid gold needs care and attention. To maintain its beauty and shine, you can gently rub it with a tooth-brush and lukewarm water.

Silver

Sterling silver 925 is an alloy consisting 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. Our jewelry is made of silver plated with rhodium, which gives shine and sustainability. Rhodium is one of the most expensive precious metals because of its rarity.

Care

Silver is water sensitive - in this case we recommend you to avoid excessive contact with water while wearing it, because in time, sterling silver is oxidizing.

Although it is recommended to keep them away from water, it doesn't mean that you shouldn't wear your silver jewelry. Why? That's because between you and the silver jewelry there's - practically - chemistry. The formula (YOU + 925 Sterling Silver = Forever) is very true indeed. How so? The answer is plain simple: skin’s natural oils help to maintain the silver from oxidizing. Therefore, wear the jewelry with regularity, and when you're not wearing them, keep them in a zipplastic bag to maintain it in the best environment possible.

Vermeil

How do you spell it?! Admit it! We have put you in a mess.  Ver - Mei. It's a process that should not be confused with gold plating.

Vermeil is a procedure consisting in a thick layer of gold that gives our jewelry a long lasting color. For an item to be considered Vermeil, the gold has to be at least 10K and 1.5 microns. To obtain the desired look, Lisa&Co uses 18K gold on 925 sterling silver.

Care

Sweat and water, no thank you! Before going to the gym or shower take off Vermeil jewelry. Clean the piece gently with a dry cloth and keep it in a satchel or zip plastic bag.

Diamonds

Diamonds are one of the most expensive gems found on earth. Our diamonds are high end (clarity SI 1-2) come from trustworthy traders that went through a thorough selection and proved that the provenience of their gems follows the international legislation regarding the exploitation of such kind of resource (fair paid labor work, social responsibility and ethic, controlled exploitation)

Care

Even diamonds have their own kryptonite! Although they are very tough, they can still crack when hit! Use lukewarm water, soap and a toothbrush to clean the gem.

Precious Stones

All Lisa&Co precious stones are authentic mineral stones, appreciated for their beauty, longevity and rarity. We are using a series of precious and semi-precious stones, from sapphires (AAA quality) to citrine.

Care

Even gems aren't friends with water or chemicals. Also, prolonged exposure to sunlight can affect some precious stones.

Pearls

In Lisa&Co workshop we carefully pick and use two kinds of pearls - culture pearls and sweet water oysters and mussels culture pearls. Delicate not only by their looks but by their essence, pearls must be treated with love and attention.

Care

Make sure that these are the last thing that you put on before leaving the house and first thing that you take off after returning home. Avoid direct contact with perfume chemicals or other cosmetic products.
